How it works

The backup scheduler runs automatically in the background.
It reads real VS Code: state files (state.vscdb, Backups/, workspaces.json) to capture workspace/folder paths and open editor tabs per window.
Data is persisted to backups/session-backup.json.
If you forget to Hot Exit, you can restore the last backed-up session.
The restored session matches the prior window.restoreWindows state.
