Objective, data-driven security track record rankings based on documented incidents
Data Source: The backend aggregates live CVE data from the National Vulnerability Database (NVD) and CIRCL.lu on startup, and scrapes manufacturer security bulletins for patch/response data. When external APIs are unreachable, a curated fallback dataset of real, verifiable CVEs (each linking directly to its NVD record) is displayed. All data is grounded in publicly documented vulnerabilities.

Methodology
Security Score: Calculated from incident severity, frequency, and response time. Higher is better (0-100 scale).
Incident Data: Aggregated from the National Vulnerability Database (NVD), CIRCL.lu CVE search, and manufacturer security bulletins. Each incident links to its official CVE record.
Severity Levels: Critical (remote code execution, data breach), High (privilege escalation), Medium (information disclosure), Low (minor vulnerabilities).
Response Time: Days between disclosure and patch availability, sourced from manufacturer security bulletins.
Updates: Data is refreshed on every backend startup by querying live APIs and scraping manufacturer bulletins; fallback data is used when APIs are unreachable.
